Klimaat
De wijngaarden liggen op een hoogte van 350 meter, in de kleine gemeente Lesquerde, leunend tegen de Pyreneeën. Deze hoogte zorgt voor een langzame rijping van de druiven, met als gevolg een intense ontwikkeling van aroma’s.

Ondergrond
Voornamelijk granietbodem, ideaal voor Syrah en Grenache.

Vinificatie
De oude wijnstokken van meer dan 30 jaar oud dragen bij aan de aanzienlijke concentratie in de druiven. Al de druiven worden authentiek met de hand geplukt en vervolgens zorgvuldig met de hand getrieerd. Enkel de beste druiven worden gebruikt, wat leidt tot een zeer laag rendement.
