Het landgoed Fenocchio werd opgericht in 1864. Het landgoed van 12 hectare wordt al meer dan vijf generaties lang doorgegeven. Giacomo Fenocchio was verantwoordelijk voor het toevoegen van wijngaardland en focus op export, en vandaag wordt het landgoed gerund door zijn zonen (Claudio, Albino & Alberto) met bijna 80 procent van de productie geëxporteerd. De familie Fenocchio heeft twee van de beroemdste en meest prestigieuze wijngaardgebieden van Barolo, Cannubi en Bussia. De kwaliteit staat altijd voorop en daarom wordt er ook het gehele vinificatie proces nauwkeurig gewerkt. Alleen de allerbeste Nebbiolo druiven worden geselecteerd voor deze Barolo Villero. De Villero wijngaard ligt op een heuvel op ongeveer 300 meter boven zeeniveau. De 65 jaar oude wijnstokken genieten van de klei en kalkhoudende bodems rijk aan ijzer. In het begin van oktober worden de druiven handmatig geoogst. Er volgt een traditionele methode van lange maceratie met natuurlijke fermentatie tot 40 dagen in roesvrijstalen tanks. Hierna rijpt de wijn nog 6 maanden in roestvrijstalen tanks en 30 maanden in Slavonische eikenhouten vaten. Hierna wordt de Barolo Villero gebotteld en rust het nog enkele maanden op de fles.De warme intense smaken van Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo Villero
De kleur is diep granaatrood met robijnrode reflecties, met een helder en levendig aspect. De geur is complex en rijk met fruit, bloemengeuren, kruiden, kreupelhout en pruimen. Het heeft een intense smaak met zoete tannines en een lange afdronk. De Barolo Villero uit zich met zijn karakteristieke stimulerende geur vergezeld van een droge, maar warme en elegante smaak die hij lang vasthoudt.Shipping Notes

So extremely hydrating

Best hydrating mask I have ever seen! Used it once so far at night. I would only use at night because it is sticky and stays sticky BUT so worth it! I had applied it 3 hours before going to sleep. During that 3 hours I could see it working. My skin kept getting plumper by the hours. I am 62 years old with deep wrinkles and very dry skin. Guess what...my skin was not dry all day after using this mask overnight. Can not wait to keep using it. My deep wrinkles are plumped up. I have bouncy skin.

Great, way better than "slugging"!

It's heavy, but less so than Vaseline. Vaseline causes me to breakout even though I'm constantly told it shouldn't. This feels sticky, but otherwise calming and seems to help my skin heal. I have pcos - large pores and produce extra oil, rosacea, and just very sensitive skin. You definitely have to let it sit before laying down but my skin is always less irritated in the morning.

Moisturizing mask

Kino’s 4k Release Is A Cut Above The Prior Bluray!
Wow. Practically a night and day difference from the earlier bluray. There are the usual increases in clarity, sharpness and even less grain overall, though still entirely natural and healthy-looking. But, the biggest improvement is that the dark areas of the many true night shots, mostly found in the beginning, are much improved over that bluray, which, in that respect, looked horrid. When I first viewed it then, I had to wonder if it was a less-than-ideal print or if the original film was just that down-and-dirty in its production values. But, now I feel like I’m seeing the real quality of this film brought back to life. I’m sure Kino’s working from the 35mm, camera negative had a big impact on all that.
The film is terrific, a gangland action-adventure that also doubles very well as dark comedy. Once we're initially introduced to the laid-back and even ‘leisurely amusing’ take on its own, dark material this film has to offer – then we're off and running. That, and Ritchie’s eye for detail of middle America makes for a ‘pleasing’ viewing experience, even for this otherwise, sober-minded, sordid, dark and violent content. But, this overlooked, unusual entry of a film, and it's not even really a true noir, is just as uniquely a worthwhile find today as I think it was back then - well worth going back for. Unexpectedly, it's actually a hoot!
Even with the violence and nudity here, on the whole this one somehow manages to rise above. Maybe it’s the hero aspect, but also Ritchie’s effective and insightful handling of both the ambiance and material. And in every category, it’s a well made film. Evidently it wasn’t marketed as dark comedy per se, but that’s clearly what it was always meant to be – and I think it's a great one! Glad to see Kino now giving it its due in a form that finally does it justice!
