This concise collection of poems explores some of the difficult expressions and experiences of pain. Throughout time women have dealt with pain in different ways. I wouldn't say that there is only one way to deal with pain but I will say that finding an outlet for the pain you are feeling is important. I express what I'm feeling in various ways but I have to say that the arts is one of my favourites. I think that communicating how you feel creatively gives you the opportunity to produce something new and special from your broken places. I hope as you read this book, you can identify your own pain and find comfort in these pages.
