Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare so not all of the light shines on target. All SSC2 LED pods feature a custom-molded DT type Deutsch-style connector on the back and come with a 6-inch pigtail with bare leads.Backlight Functionality The Stage Series 2in LED Pod includes a distinctive backlight feature as well. Exactly what I wanted. Exact quality thickness and sturdiness. Only small downside is they're coated in a wax like substance and stick together so you have to pry them apart and if you microwave something, it tends to meld together and also stick into the bowl. But I still love them especially the price.
