Mung beans are extremely healthy because of their high levels of minerals and vitamins. They are also quite filling and high in protein & fibre. Mung beans are prepared in the same manner as lentils. Fibre-rich protein source. Add to vegetable stews to add texture.

Mung beans are normally soft and tender within 30 minutes of cooking, and they, like other beans, are easy to cook and have a rich and healthful flavor once cooked. They absorb tastes quite well and integrate nicely with those that are blended, flavored, and sweet.
  • ✔ INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Fibre-rich protein source. Add to vegetable stews to add texture. To Cook: 1. Rinse beans 2. Soak for 4-6 hours (or overnight). 3. Place in a pot and cover with water above the beans. 4. Boil for 45-60 minutes and ensure that there's always water in the pot. 5. Add more as necessary.
