This Limited Edition Gretsch Electromatic Pristine Jet is a fashionable and formidable electric guitar ready for taking on thrilling musical frontiers. Decked in a classy, vintage aesthetic and loaded with punchy electronics, this Gretsch is primed for whatever can be thrown at it.
This guitar's chambered mahogany body starts the experience out easily. With it, Gretsch pairs an arched maple top, resulting in an overall balanced acoustic voice and an impressive sonic profile. This combination of maple and chambered mahogany makes this guitar a marvel of low, mid, and high frequencies. The experience keeps rolling from there with a mahogany neck shaped in a Thin "U" profile. Smoothly played, this neck facilitates quick moves from higher to lower registers.
Along with its mahogany neck, this Electromatic brings a laurel fingerboard into the equation. This fingerboard measures with a very flat, twelve-inch radius and is lined with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Providing a familiar and easy feel across the fingers, these frets and fingerboard radius inspire comfortable and articulate fretting spanning its full-scale length.
For its voice, this Electromatic Pristine Jet comes to form with two FT-5E Filter'Tron humbucking pickups. Playing with brightness and enhanced presence, these humbuckers project with definition and clarity to make for an extremely versatile set of pickups. The electronics configuration goes further with the master volume's treble bleed circuit which retains high end in the signal, even when rolling back on volume. Totally, this Gretsch is a knockout with its sounds.
The hardware setup on this guitar also has quite a bit to write home about. An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge meets with a Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece, ensuring a stable intonation experience while welcoming expressive vibrato string bends while playing. This Gretsch's synthetic bone nut and die-cast sealed tuning machines assist in easy string changes while gold-finished hardware shines and ties the instrument together.
As a classic guitar from a classic name, this Electromatic Pristine Jet clocks in overtime for a killer sound and playing experience.
