Details

The Viola Concerto in C major is the closest to the violin concerto in the same key though its opening flourish is closely related to the E-flat major viola concerto. This is perhaps the least complicated of the three rediscovered viola concertos, and yet it retains a high degree of virtuosity and the same sort of thematic twists and turns as the others. Its close compositional technical content makes it likely that it was the first of these composed, probably not long after the violin concerto in 1777. Like the other two concertos, it represents the highpoint of concertante writing for this middle-range instrument.

I have a Lab/Pyrenees mix which is a serial toy defluffer. I truly believed these would be in the garbage by the end of a day or 2. Yes the squeakers are in the land of unnamed squeaker graves, but the actual pockets and Velcro lasting like a champ! It takes him a few minutes to unroll them and get the treats out of the pockets. Good value, fun play. Poor strings

This turned out to be one of my Doberman puppy's favorite toys. He loves it and takes it everywhere. I didn't expect much, but the moment it came out of the box he loved it. The colors are still bright after a month of being knawed and chewed on. He loves playing tug a war with it, though the strings are not standing up to well to that. There are three of them, so he has choices. Pluse, he has an extra when missing one. I think they are wonderfully well made and shaped well to fit for him to chew on. He hasn't torn any stuffing out of it and tears either despite his daily rough play. It is fun watching for seeing him attack those poor little guys. The strings are only issue. It it slowly coming off in pieces. They are still hanging on, but dying a slow death. Pieces are being found all over the place. I keep a eye to try to make sure he isn't swallowing any. I, also love the cute designs. The three different ones are so cute I don't have a favorite and neither does my puppy. He will play with it for a while, not just tug a war. He likes the low low sounding squeaker. Low and now loud and annoying. The materials have a nice smooth feeling and no rough material. I don't mind holding on to it for tug a war or to throw it. It is easy to throw for him. Light but enough weight to send it though the air. Great value fore the price and the amount of three. I would just take the strings off. They could possibly be a danger hazard. Overall, I am glad I bought and a good value.
