A post box can be not only a simple post box but a masterpiece which decorates your house and outlines your exterior features.
Here is a hand made forged post box called "Hut on Chicken Legs" for its fairy-tale look. It is a hut of a witch called "Baba Yaga". Baba Yaga is the archetypal witch from Slavic and Russian folklore, she is a mistress of magic, a mythical creature. She is also seen as a forest spirit, leading hosts of spirits. She lives in a log cabin (hut) that moves around on a pair of dancing chicken legs. She it a much deeper and more intricate character than the witches of western Europe fairy-tales. Amaizing, quirky design!

The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

Custom orders are welcome (different colour, size, content). I can do the same post box with different sizes and colours (it can be hung on the wall or stand up on its own, either vertical or horizontal). Custom orders are welcome.
