The RAP-300U is designed to hold various devices including smaller radar detectors and cellphones. The magnetic plate includes one powerful rare earth magnet, rubber cradle and two adhesive metal plates (one 1.5" x 2" rectangle plate, one .75" round plate). To mount your device to the magnet, you will need to attach one of the metal plates to the back of you device.Remove your device by twisting it on the holder.

This is smaller than the RAP-300-1U Power Plate™ III and doesn't have the recess that features on that part.

The RAM composite, flex adhesive base works simply and effectively and is an ideal dashboard base. Peel off the adhesive back and stick the mount where it will work best for you. The RAM peel and stick mount is far and away the most discrete and clean way to mount most any compact electronic device to the dash of your vehicle. Once the snap link ball is inserted into the socket, the screw on the socket can be tightened, resulting in friction between the socket and the ball. This allowing you to move the mount and your device easily while still holding the position you leave it in.
