Note:
This part will screw directly onto a RAM Pipe (parts RAM-PA8206, RAM-PA8209, RAM-PA8224 or RAM-PA5412) to create a straight arm of the length you choose with B series (1") ball sockets at each end.

That makes a very useful part for those situations where a double socket arm is not long enough or greater rigidity is required. As such these parts are often used in device holders for mobility devices.
