Resident Evil 2: The Board Game follows the story of the A-Side of the video game counterpart and follows heroes Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they fight against hordes of the dead to survive, solve puzzles and escape before it is too late! However, zombies are not the only thing lurking in the shadows.
Follow the scenario based play and uncover the true horror that lie in wait for any unsuspecting players. The game's scenarios are set-up using tiles to recreate famous locations within the this game's video game counterpart, and with that come the classic puzzles and keys required to progress through the complicated locations of Raccoon Police Department. All scenarios have set start points, objectives, initial enemy spawns, and win conditions... But beware! You cannot predict what nasties will turn up mid-play!
During a scenario of Resident Evil 2: The Board Game, players take turns to complete four actions to make progress towards their goals before any undead around them prepare to strike, and rooms linked by open doors also suffer from the overly proactive dead ambling towards players. The core game is entirely co-operative and players will need to rely heavily on teamwork and discussion to have any hope of completing their objectives. There are no second chances in this, one dead means game over! Intense fun and high risk go hand in hand, knowing that playing it safe will often result in running out of time anyway!
And when you do crack that teamwork and make it through every scenario, there are the B-Files, Survival Horror (competitive elements), G-Malformation (A and B versions), and Fourth Survivor expansions to add in, all of which increase the game's depth and increase its likeness to the video game!Are you ready to take on Umbrella and their twisted creations?
