Hybrid Racing Z3 Shifter to K24Z7/K20Z4/FD2 Transmission Shifter Cables - A New Solution is Here
Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade replacement for stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, & aluminum end links give the Hybrid Racing cables a firmer, tighter feel over OEM cables resulting in fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis. Heat resistant up to 225*F with a max bend radius of 5" (for optimum life)We created a cable to give people peace of mind. We improved driving performance when they shift hard and during demanding racing applications and the Hybrid Racing performance cables achieve this goal!Other notable features of the Hybrid Racing cables are spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (OEM are plastic) that are known to break on the OEM cables. All of the rod ends, and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo and flair.
Are these cables a direct replacement for my OEM Shifter Cables?
No! The cables were created for customers using a Honda K20A (FD2 Type R ONLY), K20Z4 (FN2 Type-R ONLY) and K24Z7 (12-15 Civic Si) transmission and the Hybrid Racing Z3 Bolt-In Shifter. For years, customers had no easy option to use these transmissions with good shifters in K-Swapped cars. Most setups required lots of modification, but not anymore! You must use the OEM cast cable mounting bracket.
Use these shifter cables with these Hybrid Racing parts: Z3 No Cut Short Shifter - HYB-SAS-01-11
Compatibility:
1990-2001 Acura Integra
1988-2000 Honda Civic
1988-1991 Honda CRX
1993-1997 Honda Del Sol
*K Swaps using OEM Trans Bracket and Transmission for the K24Z7, K20Z4, and K20A (FD2).
As these are specially designed K Swap shifter cables, so they will not fit RSX, EP3 Civic Si, or TSX chassis. For the above listed K Swaps, you must use the FD2 Type R K20A, FN2 Type R K20Z4 and 12-15 Civic Si K24Z7 transmission and bracket with these shifter cables. They are designed to fit that trans with the OEM bracket and the Hybrid Racing K-Swap Z3 shifter.
These shifter cables are a great solution for those looking to maintain a factory center console, but have until this time an unsupported transmission for that possibility.

Beware of the off-gassing smell.
As much as I like the durable case, the ONLY complaint I have is the off-gassing. The case works great and I have no problems with it. But the smell is something terrible. My entire travel case smells horrible after coming back from a client just because this case has been transported within it. I had my coat on top of it one day and then my coat stunk. I thought if I aired it outside for a bit it would clear it up. When I take it back inside and use it again, it continues to smell. It is so offensive that I am ordering something from another company. I CANNOT say it smells similar to cigarette smoke, but can say that it smells like it has been in a smoker's home for the last 30 years and you just can't get the smell out, no matter what I do. And I tried to spray it with fresheners etc. Nothing worked. I can't use it because of this. I rated as a 2 only because of the smell. As mentioned earlier, the case itself is perfect and performs as it should.

Sturdy case large enough for most keyboards, with space for a mouse.
This is a great case that will protect most keyboards very well. My keyboard and mouse set is from Jelly Comb, and they fit well. It’s very spacious inside. In fact, my keyboard is thinner than what this case is designed for, so I had to pad the keyboard so it won’t move around too much, but I don’t consider this a bad thing. Now I know that if I get a larger keyboard, I can still use the same case. I also like the way it’s designed for a mouse. There are two pouches on top that indent into the case, so you can easily fit a mouse or cables in there and they won’t protrude too much. This case is perfect, and I can’t recommend it enough.
