To start, the Deco can add rich, harmonic tape saturation to the incoming signal. The saturation knob adjusts how hard the tape machine input is being pushed. At lower settings, subtle tape compression and saturation will be present and become more extreme as the input is pushed, just like a typical reel-to-reel machine would respond.
