Ranfurly Showgrounds Meditation:  This abstract aerial photo is in fact the Ranfurly showgrounds showing the square form of the pens used for livestock at the annual A&P show.  A closer look reveals details of open and closed gates and fences that have a new beauty when viewed from above.  Using a drone at a low altitude has given Janyne the alternative view point she often seeks.   Photographed by award winning photographer, Janyne Fletcher GMNZIPP, this image received a silver distintion award at the 2022 NZIPP Iris awards and was part of her portfolio as NZIPP Landscape (Open) Photographer of the Year in 2022.  In 2024 this image won Creative Photographer of the Year (International) at the Australian Photographic Prize.
