Selectable Colour Temperature & DALI Control

The TORCDA4 offers three selectable colour temperatures — 3000K, 4000K, and 5700K — adjustable via an internal switch for precise control of light tone and ambience. Featuring integrated DALI dimming technology, it provides seamless integration with DALI-compliant lighting systems, allowing individual dimming, energy-saving automation, and complete lighting control flexibility.

Energy Efficiency & Light Output

With an outstanding efficacy of up to 160 lumens per watt***, the TORCDA4 ensures exceptional performance while minimising power consumption. Producing up to 4,900 lumens at 4000K, this 4FT batten provides bright, uniform illumination — ideal for use in workshops, warehouses, retail units, corridors, and other professional installations.

Durable, Non-Corrosive Construction

Built from anti-corrosive polycarbonate and secured with stainless steel diffuser clips, the TORCDA4 is designed to withstand harsh and demanding environments. The IP65 weatherproof rating provides full protection against dust and water ingress, while the IK08 impact resistance ensures robust performance in industrial settings. The luminaire supports surface, BESA box**, or suspension mounting** for installation flexibility.

Torlan Range Overview

The Knightsbridge Torlan Range combines performance, versatility, and durability across multiple configurations and sizes. Available in 2FT (653mm), 4FT (1263mm), 5FT (1563mm), and 6FT (1828mm) lengths, it offers multiple functional variants:

A great read for those who want in depth knowledge about MS Active Directory & related services

Reviewer: 20 yrs training and consulting experience with Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, all major hypervisors, and cloud services. Active Directory along with all the related services and features are complex and many faceted topics. Books showing step by step examples are easy to come by, although not very useful since there’s plenty of Microsoft online help with the same info. What’s more important is to understand the features and related services and how to use them properly and securely. This book covers in great detail Active Directory and the related services and features. There’s also plenty of information and expertise from a security perspective. With the move to cloud services and more employees are working from home there’s a whole new level of security issues to contend with. This book contains lots of in-depth explanations that allow you to understand why certain features and services exist and how to use them. This extra depth and the author’s experience is what makes this book special. I would recommend this book for IT Professionals that already have some AD knowledge and experience. My only qualification is that I occasionally found some of the explanations confusing even after reading them over a several times. I would highly recommend this book for those who wish to understand, configure and design an AD infrastructure along with associated services including OU design, group policy, object management delegation, ADFS, Certificate Services, etc. Although the book is not about Azure AD it does cover some aspects including integrating with on-prem AD.

Detailed coverage of Active Directory
Format: Kindle
I spent several years very close to active directory but haven’t followed developments in recent years. I was interested in this book as a refresher on what’s new in the last 8-10 years – and it did not disappoint. The chapter on Advanced AD Management with PowerShell does a great job providing some background, setting the stage for why we’d want to know this, and providing some brief descriptions of various cmdlets that might be needed. My last experience with PowerShell/Active Directory required the Quest module, so seeing these native cmdlets is a nice change. The chapter on AD FS is very detailed, providing a history of the functionality, deployment topologies and considerations, as well as details on configuring the required components. This is a topic I was not familiar with before seeing this book, and it did a good job bringing me up to speed on the feature. I have not made it all the way through this book, but the sections I have completed are very good. If you are looking for a thorough reference guide on the current state of Active Directory, you should check out this book.

If you purchased an earlier release of this book and was wondering if this one is worth getting, the answer is yes!! The biggest change is this edition thoroughly covers the latest and greatest, Windows Server 2022. It walks through security issues, the differences between this and previous versions of Windows Server and how to design and deploy a functional and secure Server 2022 Active Directory. I enjoyed reading through this book and highly recommend it!

This is the most realistic and informative book I've read about el Camino de Santiago, (and I've read no less than 10 in my preparation to walk el Camino). It is beautifully written, inspirational, humble and encouraging. The reality of the albergues or refugios hit me, so I decided to book in private albergues or pensiones in advance. Thank you Joyce for opening our eyes about the hard parts of the Camino, but also of all the beauty and the transformative experience. I hope to savor some of what you and Tome did (minus the albergues), and to learn to appreciate every little thing that we take it for granted. Beautiful book! A must read for all who wants to walk The Way.
