For the best, long lasting results, and up to a 7-10 day chip-free manicure, follow these steps:

BEFORE PAINTING YOUR NAILS:

• Thoroughly shake your Rugged Beauty bottle to ensure your polish is mixed well.  (We include two mixing balls in each bottle to help with this process.)

• Wash your nails with soap and water and dry them thoroughly to make sure they are free from any oil.

• Apply a base coat to your nail, gliding the brush down the center of your nail, then on each side.  Be sure to brush the edge of your nail as well.  Allow this coat to dry before adding a polish color over it.  (A base coat helps allow the polish to better stick to your nails.)

• Next, paint two thin coats of your polish color, letting each layer dry before applying the next one.  Again, be sure to brush the polish over the edge of your nails.

• Finally, seal your manicure with a top coat, being sure to brush the top coat across the tip of your nails.
