This kit is configured for dedicated road racing on all 1982-92 Camaros and Firebirds using the OE factory single piston caliper spindles that have been modified to accept the Wilwood caliper brackets. Four piston, nickel finish Quick-Silver FSL4R/ST calipers, with Thermlock pistons and internal knock-back damping springs, are volume matched for system compatibility with either a factory power brake booster and master cylinder, or a manual balance bar style pedal with appropriately sized master cylinders. The kit includes two-piece 12.19" diameter Spec 37 alloy GT series directional vane rotors to comply with SCCA American Sedan rules, cross-overs into the NASA pony car categories, or any other sanction racing with racing with 16" or 17" wheels. Unsprung and rotating weight are minimized by using forged aluminum hats to mount the rotors to the forged aluminum hubs supplied with the kit. The kit also includes high-temp Wilwood race compound pads, machined billet radial mount caliper brackets, stainless steel braided flexlines, extra length wheel studs, hub bearings, grease seals, and all premium grade hardware. The Mitt is it.
I ordered the applicator because the Poli Glow Kit on hand was ordered and received a couple of years ago and it had the old chamois covered rectangular applicator. I could tell by looking that the mitt was the better solution. Also, the mitt was described well in an online video, so using it was easy to learn. The results were fantastic and I am very pleased with it.
The only thing I would change is to add some more information on how often to replenish the mitt and with how much Poli Glow liquid. I wasn't sure if I was skimping or wasting the material. As I approached halfway, I couldn't tell if I was going to run out before I finished, so I tried to be as frugal as possible. Turns out, I had liquid left over.
