The Benson Preamp Effect Pedal is a versatile and dynamic device that is designed to enhance the tonal characteristics of your guitar signal. It is meticulously crafted with high-quality components and is hand-built to ensure superior sound quality and durability. This particular version comes in a gorgeous, limited edition finish that is exclusive to Russo Music.
The circuitry is based directly on their Benson Chimera 30w Guitar Amplifier with FET transistors subbed in for the vacuum tubes. The extremely musical and amp-like tone can be dialed in to sculpt boosted cleans, harmonically-rich overdrive, and even shove its way into fuzz territory.
At the core of the Benson Preamp is a three-band equalizer that allows for precise tonal shaping of the guitar signal. The pedal also features a gain control, which enables the user to dial in the perfect amount of distortion or overdrive to suit their playing style. Additionally, the Benson Preamp has a volume control, which can be used to boost or cut the overall level of the signal.
The Benson Preamp is also equipped with true bypass, ensuring the guitar signal remains pristine when the pedal is not in use. The pedal's compact size and rugged construction make it an ideal choice for gigging musicians, as it can easily fit on any pedalboard and withstand the rigors of the road.
