Discover the transformative power of running with 'What I Talk About When I Talk About Running' by Haruki Murakami. This introspective memoir is a must-read for runners and literary enthusiasts alike. Delve into the heart and mind of one of contemporary literature's most celebrated authors as he reflects on the intersection of his running journey and his writing career. Murakami began his running path in 1982, embarking on this physical challenge not only for fitness but as a means to explore creativity. This book uniquely combines elements of a travelogue, training log, and a deeply personal reminiscence, all while narrating his preparation for the rigorous 2005 New York City Marathon. From the serene landscapes of Tokyo's Jingu Gaien gardens, where he trained alongside Olympians, to the picturesque Charles River in Boston, the narrative invites readers to experience the beauty of discipline and the introspection that running offers.

With poignant reflections on pain, perseverance, and purpose, Murakami captivates readers and inspires not just seasoned athletes but novices who find joy in running. Whether you're seeking motivation or a deeper understanding of this beloved sport, this book offers insights that resonate far beyond the trails. Join Murakami on this journey and uncover how running fuels creativity and personal growth. Perfect for anyone passionate about running, literature, or the intricate relationship between physical and artistic expression. Not water resistant

Have had it less than a month, shower and swim with watch on. Water is under the face. Very disappointed in the quality, I get it is a relatively cheap watch, but quality should be better than this. Will never buy again.

Water is getting into the watch.
Color: silver white
It’s a nice watch. I own pieces from other brands, and I stopped wearing this one for about a month; when I decided to put it back on, it was still running. I found this odd, since it’s supposed to be an automatic watch—meaning you need to wear it to keep it wound and functioning—and it supposedly doesn't use a battery. Another thing: every time I wash my hands, water gets inside the watch, even though it’s rated for a depth of 30 meters. I have my doubts as to whether it’s truly an automatic or not. Does anyone else here own one?

I absolutely love these watches! They are built like a tank. They can take a lot of abuse and still keep great time. I originally was going to buy just one to replace my old watch. Ended up buying several of them. Great gifts. The watches are beautiful and elegant, and I feel like a thief when I buy them because the price is so low I think its a typo. I have gotten several compliments on them when I wear them. I have busted up concrete and cleared heavy terrain ,cleaning areas out, wipe then off and they look Like I just took them out of the box. The only thing, and it's not a big deal to me.But the glow in the dark arms don't last long. They even give you the tool to adjust the wristband. Who does that🤣 The Quality of these watches are phenomenal
