The D-28 Modern Deluxe embraces modern technology with its Vintage Tone System (VTS) treatment process applied to the Sitka Spruce top. This transformative process imparts the new top with the characteristics of a well-aged, "broken-in" guitar, resulting in a rich and matured tonal palette. The top is reinforced with forward-shifted scalloped Adirondack spruce "X" bracing, enhancing its resonance and responsiveness.
