The wheel bearing tool KL-0040-860 enables front axle wheel bearings to be removed and installed quickly and without any trouble. For this, the hydraulic cylinder KL-0040-2800 is necessary. To replace a brake disc or a wheel bearing, it is usually necessary to pull out the wheel bearing along with the hub and brake disc from the wheel bearing housing. Thanks to this tool, the removal and installation of the wheel bearing can be carried out in-situ on the vehicle within just a few minutes, without having to dismount the suspension strut. Required, for example, when replacing the wheel bearing and brake disc, as these are located behind the wheel hub. All work can be carried out directly on the vehicle within a few minutes. A time-consuming removal and installation of the wheel bearing housing as well as a resulting wheel alignment is not necessary.
