1980年代のSPHINXの太陽モチーフイヤリング。

マットなゴールドトーンメタルの太陽に、独特の表情をたたえた顔が描かれています。仏を思わせる、穏やかでありながらミステリアスな顔に心惹かれるお品。

立体的かつ精巧に作られた顔は横顔まで美しく、つい眺めてしまいます。

動きを感じさせる太陽のシルエットも印象的で、ファンタジックなムードも漂う一品。身に纏えば、思わず視線を集める個性的な佇まいを演出してくれます。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。

He loves playing with it and it actually doesn’t get swallowed up in his very large mouth. He can still bark talk with it in his mouth which is impressive due to its larger than a softball. That one is an outside toy, he still brings me this one daily and we’ve had it for several weeks now. Plus my cousin little boy just visited and he loved playing with it too. Its made out of material that’s easy to clean for the 17month old to play with in his play pen. It’s not so heavy you can’t throw it just heavier than the others I’m willing to toss down the hall.
