Jean-Claude Lapalu is a third-generation winemaker. When he started his own domaine in 1996, he knew what kind of wines he didn’t want to make and he came the process of moving his 12 hectares of beautiful, old vines to organic viticulture practices, alongside.with his daughter Clarice.
This succulent Gamay is made from biodynamic grapes from 60-80 year old vines in Saint-Etienne-la-Varenne, near the cru of Brouilly. It's jam-packed with vibrant red fruit flavour with fine tannins, structure and a lightly savoury finish.
