Starsand
Starsand is an open-world survival game developed by Tunnel Vision Studio. After being caught in a massive sandstorm, you found yourself alone in the middle of a hot and dangerous desert. Now, equipped with just a few tools, you have to fight to survive in this hostile environment. Hoping for rescue, you have to venture through hot sands to find water, shelter, and food. But the heat is not the only danger. You can’t help but ask yourself: where the hell am I?
Fight to survive
This is not a typical desert. Without knowing where you are, you have to bring out your survival skills. Search for the way home through the open-world area of over 64km², using the few tools you are equipped with. Find water and hunt for food. Build yourself a shelter that will protect you from heat during the day and cold during the night. Save your energy and think strategically to survive.
Dynamic weather
The desert is unbearably hot, and water is like gold dust. Conversely, during the night, you can easily freeze to death. The day quickly changes into night, and a calm and steady desert transforms into a blowing sandstorm in no time. It takes good planning, wise action, and a lot of courage to survive in these ever-changing weather conditions.
You are the prey
There are things here worse than hunger. And the heat is not the only enemy. Deadly creatures are on a hunt for you, hiding in the sand. Use fire, secure your shelter, and craft weapons to fight the enemy. Explore the artifacts of the past, solve numerous puzzles, and answer questions to survive this journey.
