When a K-series engine goes into an older chassis (EF/EG/EK/DC/DA, etc.), the factory cluster expects the two-wire B/D-series coolant sender. This precision-machined adapter replaces the unused K-series idle-air assist valve, providing the exact thread pitch for that sender so your temperature needle behaves just like OEM.
