This fun and educational journey through art history shows young readers how the materials artists use in their work have evolved over the centuries, around the world. The earliest artists wielded bones, pieces of ivory, and wooden sticks to create works that tell us much about how ancient civilizations lived and thought. Today artists are using found objects to make elaborate pieces that are equally revealing. Aimed at young readers, this fascinating book focuses on 13 kinds of artistic materials to trace the development of artistic expression throughout history. Illustrated spreads explore how precious metals and gems were used by ancient Egyptian artisans and how Greek sculptors created beautiful vessels out of clay. It reveals the importance of cast metals to the Romans, and glass to the builders of Gothic cathedrals and Byzantine mosaics. The book also shows how the same materials were used by artists centuries apart: paper as parchment for illuminated manuscripts but also for artist books. Chapters explore the intriguing histories of paint and drawing, ranging from ground pigment to acrylic and from charcoal sticks to pen and ink. Along the way readers will become familiar with celebrated and lesser-known works of art and the people who created them. Informative and entertaining, this latest addition to the 13 Children Should Know series for children reveals how resourcefulness and ingenuity are the artist’s most precious tools.

Perfect Keyboard Case | Works Great !!!
Color: Light Pink, Color: Light Pink
Got it for my iPad 11th gen. Love love the case. It does feel a little heavy with the iPad in it but that’s okay for me.
The keyboard connects instantly to my iPad. There are no glitches when typing and keys feel comfy.
I love the different lights that come with the keyboard. Overall, it’s perfect

Good case, I’d recommend, but a few things to consider…
Color: Light Pink
I got this while it was on sale, I’d say it’s worth the money. The case itself feels nice and is functional in the aspects it says it should be. My only complaint is that it is a bit difficult to type, especially with how small the keyboard is. However, it makes sense why the keyboard is small because it’s the same size as the iPad (horizontal width wise). The color is very nice, and I really enjoy the different light options for the keyboard. The case is a bit heavy, but it’s still portable and wouldn’t be a hassle to carry around. Another thing that I didn’t quite realize when buying is that you can’t close the case with the keyboard attached, it has to be unattached for it to close. That a little annoying because I have to find a safe spot for it aside, but I suppose the perk of that is that you don’t have to have the keyboard attached to the case to use it since it is Bluetooth. Overall, good case and keyboard, and id recommend if you’re looking for something functional, easy, and affordable.

Great product for the price and it's cute!
Color: Light Pink, Color: Light Pink
I bought this because I wanted to type easier on my iPad and all the other keyboards I looked up were a bit pricey. I saw this one on sale for a good price and decided to buy it. They had it in a few different colors and light pink was one of them so I got it because it's my favorite color. The quality of the color, and the outside case is pretty great, no imperfections, it looks really solid. The keyboard itself is quite thin and lightweight, when you press the keys you can see it dip in the middle a bit but that doesn't bother me too much. Don't type to heavy because it could potentially cause issues, we'll see if in the future after many uses if it does cause any issues. The magnet isn't super strong but it does hold it in place when you put the keyboard more towards the bottom of the front flap of the case. It does seem a bit cheap but the price is also cheap so it makes sense. As long as it works well and lasts long, then I'm satisfied. The colors do change, the button for that is on the bottom row of keys and the key has three circles with 'R' 'G' and 'B' as well as a brightness key to it's left labeled with a light bulb. Connecting it to the iPad was quick and easy too, simply turn on your Bluetooth and look for new device connection in the Bluetooth settings, press the 'connect' button on the keyboard and once it turns blue then check for 'Typecase Folio' it connects quickly and easily. Happy typing!
