The BBW#13™ nose profile on both ends of the bullet has proven to provide the deepest penetration of any nose profile to date. Instead of mushrooming, our Raptor bullets are all designed to shed 6 blades after 1-2" of penetration while the base continues for even deeper penetration.
The required twist rate to shoot this bullet is 1:16" or faster. These bullets are not recommended for use in rifles with a twist faster than 1-6".
This versatile bullet comes with 50 Raptor™ tips uninstalled. User has the option to install tips if desired to increase the BC. Tips can be installed with a press, or by using light force on a flat surface.
