Take these three guardian totems and a stone archway portal and drop them into any forest, grove, or hidden clearing and you'll immediately have an interesting magical entrance puzzle. Players have to figure out how to earn passage through the portal, with combat available as an option if they'd rather fight than be clever.

The included encounter was written with 5th Edition rules in mind, with simple stat blocks for each guardian spirit, but the puzzle mechanics translate easily to any system you're running.
