Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay 2022 is a fine Hunter Valley vintage of genuine elegance and textural complexity — sourced from the Gillards Road property and select Hunter Valley vineyards sharing the same deep hillside red/brown terra rossa of limestone parentage. Green and straw hues hint at poached white nectarines and honeyed cashews, balanced with a touch of flint and French oak, and a smooth, river pebble texture carrying notes of honeyed figs, white peaches, and citrus. The finish is long and satisfying, with subtle hints of butterscotch and almonds.

Appearance

Green and straw — the fresh, luminous colour of a Hunter Valley Chardonnay of genuine purity and finesse, with the subtle depth that barrel fermentation and natural malolactic fermentation deliver.

Aroma

Poached white nectarines and honeyed cashews lead an inviting and complex bouquet, balanced with a touch of flint and French oak — the characteristic aromatic profile of a Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay from the terra rossa limestone soils of Gillards Road.

Palate

Smooth and textural — reminiscent of river pebbles, with notes of honeyed figs, white peaches, and citrus delivering a palate of genuine depth and refinement. The finish is long and satisfying, with subtle hints of butterscotch and almonds that speak of twelve months in French oak and natural malolactic fermentation.

Pairs With

Pan-roasted barramundi, grilled lobster, roast chicken with cream sauce, and soft-rind cheeses. A Hunter Valley Chardonnay of this texture and length belongs at a table that appreciates wines of genuine complexity and regional character.

Always keep them at hand
After radiation I was left with compromised saliva production and these Xylimelts really help. I use one any time I feel my mouth becoming dry, when I’m going to do any sort of physical activity, when the weather is hot, after eating astringent foods or drinks - because the taste is very mild you can even keep one in your mouth while eating or drinking. They agreed really, really well out of sight on my gum line. I always put one in at night before sleep as I’m pretty sure they cut down on the dry throat that can lead to snoring. I have a pack in each purse, glove compartment, gym bag and pre-load several packs in my luggage so they’re always available. One of those little things that makes life easier and more pleasant. I’m overjoyed I survived cancer, but there have been changes after the fact. Xylimelts make at least one a whole lot easier to bear

Bowlby brilliantly exposes his new methodology
Format: Paperback
This book is a classic in attachment. It points to the beggining of the cientification of psychoanalysis. Bowlby brilliantly exposes his new methodology, influenced by ethology, but keeps Freud's ideas as his theoretical frame. Besides, it brings a foreword by Allan Schore, who went farther than Bowlby, thanks to the development of contemporary neuroscience. I strongly recommend it for those interested in mother-baby early communication.

Another fine Piece
As with Bowlbys' other works, this classic furthers the hypothesis of negative emotional influence on the continued development of humans as we integrate with our social environments. I liked it...in fact, liked all of Bowlbys' writings.
