A streamlined McCarty that sounds as good as it looks? Look no further than the PRS S2 McCarty 594 Thinline Standard Satin in Pearl White. Designed to capture the essence and soul of the S2 and McCarty family of guitars, this compact model offers a thinner, double cutaway body, PRS 58/11 LT humbucking pickups, coil-splitting capabilities, and high quality nickel hardware.

The S2 McCarty 594 Thinline Standard gets its silhouette from a thinner double-cutaway mahogany body with an asymmetric bevel top carve. Two PRS 58/15 LT humbucking pickups are mounted in both the neck and bridge positions to amplify its voice. These pickups offer a range of P.A.F style tones to explore and can be further explored with the 3-way toggle switch, push/pull tone controls for coil splitting, and volume controls. In total, the McCarty can produce up to 8 unique voicings to master. The mahogany neck is glued into the body in a set-neck fashion and offers easy playability with its pattern thin profile. The neck is topped with a 10-inch bound rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays and is crowned by 22 PRS vintage frets.

High quality nickel hardware keeps the McCarty playing its best. A PRS Two-Piece Bridge has been employed to enhance the natural tone of the guitar while PRS Phase III Non-Locking Tuners with Wing Buttons keep tuning stability stable. The satin nitro Pearl White finish offers a refreshing visual appeal as well as enhances comfort white playing. The guitar comes complete with a PRS premium gig bag, the perfect accessories to keep your guitar safe in transit or in storage.

I was happy to discover Merwin's poetry.
Format: Paperback
Great collection of some of Merwin's early poetry. There's a mystical mysterious feel too a lot of his writing, which I like.

A Reading of "The Last One"
Format: Paperback
This poem represents Merwin at his insidious best, the conversational tone of the poem slowly leading to something imminently and undefinably dark, doom-laden. The poem was originally published in "The Lice" a book of poems written in the French countryside where, Merwin says, "I felt at once a profound attraction to the rural world in which I was living and a disquieting recognition of the fragility and uncertainty of my relation to it." "The Last One" ominously conveys that disquiet.
