MAILBOX IN A NAUTICAL STYLE WITH A HOUSE NUMBER ON ITS SIDE

Looking for an unusual mail box? Here it is!

A mail box can be not only a simple post box but a masterpiece which decorates your house (yard) and outlines its exterior features.
Here is a hand forged mailbox with a post done in the technique of the artistic forging. It includes a fish, 4 tectacles, anchor. There is no lock in it. It has a house number of a fish side. One fin of the fish had a copper color and moves unwards if needed. You can open a mailbox by pulling a round knob (the jaws are a door to open it). The chains keep it open.
The fish is screwed with a post. The mailbox will be shipped in 2 parcels due to shipping requirements.

Colour: black covered by green, copper patina.

The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development, with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

CUSTOMIZATION
Custom orders are welcome (different house number, colour, size, content (by adding additional elements (sea creatures, birds, others ....), lock, latch). I can do the same post box with different sizes and colours (it can be hung on the wall or stand up on its own, either vertical or horizontal). Custom orders are welcome.

It will be done "to order", please allow 3-4 weeks for its making.
