1980年代スフィンクスのタツノオトシゴモチーフのネックレス。華やかなゴールドメタルで精巧に表現されたタツノオトシゴが美しく、心惹かれる一品。目と尾には深く鮮やかなブルーグリーンのラインストーンが輝いています。身に纏えば、思わず視線を惹きつけられる印象的なコーディネートに。アニマルモチーフでありながら洗練された雰囲気で、ドレスアップにもおすすめ。
【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
