MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Save your plastic cage on the factory filter
This fit the plastic holder that comes with the factory filter. Make sure that you don’t discard the plastic “cage” that is on the factory filter. Reuse the cage with this filter.

The product is great and is OEM+ in quality.
This has to be the easiest cabin air filter I have ever changed.
The replacement is super simple. Take off the glove box by pressing in (check for Youtube videos), remove and take the plastic tray out, remove the old filter, and install the new one into the plastic tray, making note to match the direction of the arrows. Reinstall and you are done. Replace once a year.
