intestinal inflammation after radiotherapy and chemotherapy;
constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia;
intestinal dysfunctions (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome);
nutritional deficiencies (with insufficient fiber supply, low-fiber diet)
Properties:
Rebutestin Forte 340 mg is a golden remedy for intestinal ailments. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid, a product of fermentation carried out by intestinal microbiota. It has a wide range of beneficial metabolic effects on the gastrointestinal tract and peripheral tissues, including being the main source of energy for the cells of the colonic mucosa, and has a protective, regenerative and nourishing effect on the intestinal mucosa. Orally administered butyric acid in the form of sodium butyrate has a multifaceted beneficial effect justifying its wide application. Rebutestin contains sodium butyrate enclosed in pellets covered with a shell and additionally in a capsule made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. This protects sodium butyrate from the harmful effects of gastric acid and allows it to be transported to the colon. Rebutestin does not contain: gluten, hardened palm fat and dyes.
Ingredients:
sodium butyrate, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, filler: cellulose, maltodextrin, corn starch, glazing agent: ethylcellulose.
