FOLIGAIN® Minoxidil 5% Hair Regrowth Treatment (Low Alcohol) is for Men who have a general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp (vertex, as shown below). Our high-performance formula uses pure and potent 5% Minoxidil for a simple, painless, clinically proven answer to hair loss in men that works by awakening and revitalizing the scalp area—specifically the deadened hair follicles. It is clinically shown to help prevent hair loss and regrow hair in just a few months.

Our Low-alcohol minoxidil offers several potential benefits for individuals using this topical treatment for hair loss. Here are some of the advantages associated with low-alcohol minoxidil solutions:

1. Reduced Scalp Irritation: Low-alcohol minoxidil formulations typically have a milder and less drying effect on the scalp compared to higher-alcohol versions. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with sensitive skin or those prone to irritation.

2. Improved Scalp Comfort: The lower alcohol content may lead to less stinging or burning sensations on the scalp. This can enhance overall comfort during and after application, making it a more tolerable experience for users.

3. Less Dryness: High-alcohol content in certain minoxidil solutions may contribute to dryness of the scalp. Low-alcohol formulations aim to minimize this effect, promoting a healthier and more balanced scalp environment.

4. Better Absorption: Some argue that low-alcohol solutions may be better absorbed into the scalp, allowing the active ingredient, minoxidil, to penetrate more effectively. This improved absorption may potentially enhance the treatment's efficacy for promoting hair growth.

5. Reduced Flaking: High-alcohol content can sometimes lead to flaking or peeling of the scalp. Lower alcohol concentrations may help minimize this issue, ensuring a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing application.

6. Compatibility with Other Products: Low-alcohol minoxidil solutions are often more compatible with other hair care products or styling agents. This allows users to incorporate minoxidil into their existing hair care routine without concern about product interactions.

7. Less Disruption to Hairstyling: Some individuals find that low-alcohol minoxidil solutions are less likely to interfere with hairstyling products, making it easier to manage hair while undergoing treatment.

What is Minoxidil?

Minoxidil was the first drug approved for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (hair loss). Before that, minoxidil had been used as vasodilator drug prescribed as oral tablet to treat high blood pressure, with side effects that included hair growth and reversal of male baldness.

For the treatment of hair loss, minoxidil is available as a topical solution that is generally either 2% or 5% minoxidil in propylene glycol. The propylene glycol ensures that the applied minoxidil is evenly spread across the affected area and easily absorbed through the skin.

How does Minoxidil work?

Minoxidil topical solution is used to stimulate hair growth in people who are balding. The drug seems to exert its maximum effect at the crown of the head. The exact way that minoxidil works is not known, but it may stimulate hair growth by improving the blood supply to the hair follicles.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
