The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Brad Paisley 1967 "Lost Paisley" Telecaster captures an intriguing chapter of Fender history through a meticulous collaboration with country guitar virtuoso Brad Paisley, a noted aficionado and collector of paisley guitars. Paisley's passion for these uniquely adorned instruments extends so far that he frequently purchases vintage guitars suspected of being original paisleys concealed beneath later refinishes. Rediscovering a forgotten stash of original Blue Paisley cling-foil, Brad Paisley collaborated with experts Zac Childs and Joe Glaser to authentically replicate and revive this unique design, resulting in a faithful homage with modern functionality.

At its core, this Telecaster combines alder and lightweight paulownia wings topped with resonant spruce, a distinctive configuration contributing clarity and rich tonal resonance. The carefully selected tonewoods yield a lightweight, acoustically vibrant instrument suitable for players who prioritize nuanced articulation.

The maple neck, carved into a comfortable custom '60s Oval "C" profile, accommodates vintage-inspired playability, enhanced by a round-laminated maple fingerboard with a classic 7.25-inch radius. With 21 narrow-tall 6105 frets and black dot inlays featuring narrow spacing, precision fingering and subtle vintage feel align perfectly, promoting agile yet expressive play.

The Telecaster is outfitted with Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Hand-Wound “Lost Paisley” single-coil pickups, precisely crafted to replicate the warmth and articulate twang emblematic of the original late-‘60s sound. Modern Tele wiring provides versatile, intuitive control via a straightforward master volume, master tone, and three-way selector switch.

A distinctive highlight is the authentic '67 Telecaster bridge, enhanced with steel saddles and the acclaimed Glaser "G" Bender system, allowing players to emulate pedal-steel bends effortlessly.

A stunning Blue Paisley Relic nitrocellulose finish completes this guitar’s aesthetic, offering a visually captivating nod to its psychedelic lineage.

Complete with a deluxe hardshell case, period-correct Fender strap, and certificate of authenticity, the Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Brad Paisley 1967 “Lost Paisley” Telecaster bridges vintage authenticity and contemporary craftsmanship, embodying the Fender Custom Shop’s commitment to meticulous historical accuracy and modern performance standards.

Air and space
Format: Hardcover
I bought this book for my friend who was scheduled to see the Smithsonian Air and Space museum when he broke his hand. Sadly he wasn’t able to go to the museum but absolutely loved this book I bought him! It has so many things the museum has in it. If you or a friend cannot make it down to DC this is definitely a must buy!!!

Great Annotated Aircraft Encyclopedia
Format: Hardcover
This book was a gift for my husband who is an aircraft fanatic. We live near an airbase, which is now out of commission, but in the past, there was an aircraft museum with information about aircraft, which fascinated my husband. This book was a great surprise for him because it is not just full of pictures, but also includes text about the history, building, and uses of each aircraft.

Great Guide to the National Air & Space Museum
I recently visited the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. It was the first time I'd been there since they moved into their current facility in the mid-1970's. It was breathtaking. The best way to describe the effect of walking in the main entrance is to envision the bedroom of a boy who hangs model airplanes from the ceiling. Only at the NASM, the "models" hanging from the ceiling are full-size. I was a model-building boy in the 1950's, and my favorites were planes I'd built from kits. Unfortunately, the museum was undergoing some of its regular updating and a few of my favorite planes weren't on view, such as the F89 Super Saber. Fortunately, that plane and most (if not all) the permanent collection are profiled in the Best of the National Air and Space Museum. If at all possible, visit the museum. If you can't get there, buy the book. Actually, buy the book in either case. You won't be disappointed.

The Air & Space Museum is a national treasure.
Format: Hardcover
This is one of those books that makes you wish you were there. Lots of pictures and tidbits of information. A good quality book physically as well. We get their magazine and this is one of many books we have both from and about the museum. Highly Recommended.
