A wine that pays tribute to the origins of Dee Vine Estate in 1956, when two brothers from Southern Italy planted their first vines in the small town of Nericon and began a winemaking legacy that is now three generations strong.
Appearance
Dense colour with vibrant purple hues — the rich, inviting depth of a Riverina Durif from a vintage where a mild spring and warmer summer allowed the fruit to develop to premium ripeness, harvested in early March at 14.0 baume.
Aroma
Mulberry and blackberries greet the nose — with the complex, deeply layered aromatic structure of cassis, blueberries, anise, and pepper spice that Riverina Durif at its best consistently delivers, with luscious floral aromas adding lift and elegance.
