Madder Red Vintage Armenian Soumak / Wall Art • Handmade  Wool Carpet • 4x6 Scatter / Accent Flatweave Rug for Living Room, Bedroom, Dining, Kitchen, Study & Office

✔ This rug brings narrative, symbolism, and rich cultural artistry into a space, offering more than pattern — it carries heritage and story. Handwoven in the Armenian weaving tradition of the South Caucasus, this vintage soumak rug features a deep madder-red field filled with large, stylized pictorial motifs. Tree-of-life symbols, birds, and geometric emblems are arranged in a balanced layout around a central blue medallion. These motifs traditionally represent protection, family, abundance, and connection to nature.

The palette is bold yet beautifully aged, combining madder red, slate blue, soft ivory, charcoal, muted camel, sage green, and touches of pale gold. Detailed borders frame the central field with rhythmic geometric bands, adding structure and movement while enhancing the storytelling quality of the piece.

The soumak technique creates a slightly raised, textured surface, giving the designs crisp definition and a tactile, almost embroidered feel — ideal for both floor use and as a striking textile wall hanging. Handwoven from wool using traditional techniques, it shows the subtle irregularities and depth that make authentic village textiles so special.

The packaging is not protective enough, but the damage is still within the acceptable range for me.

Vivid Detailed Book
Format: Hardcover
I bought this book for my husband whose a big Assassin's Creed fan. The pages are filled with vivid images. Yes, there are spoilers in the book. It walks the reader through every aspect of the games: timelines, gear and weapons, characters, and etc. This book makes a great gift!

At least it's beautiful!
Format: Hardcover
Firstly, this book is beautiful to look at. The pages are heavy and glossy, and the artwork is all wonderful. Lots of things from the now defunct Initiates made it into the book, as well as the "conclusion" of the Desmond thread of the Modern Day plot from the comics. It's nice to lay on the coffee table for gamer friends to stare at for a few minutes. The major problem is the factual errors and editing issues. They're not obvious on first glance, but when you look a second or third time things truly stand out. Things like calling Chrétien Lafrenière one of Germain's allies on [Germain's] his profile page. I won't put all the errors I've found in my review for brevity, but for an item aimed at fans, it's disappointing to find so many of them. And these aren't small/minor details that are wrong. They're major plot points and important details of main story missions. I'm still a fan of the series and I'm happy to have the book for the art, but I would never suggest it for the content. The fan-run wiki (which is mentioned in the thanks section) is far more accurate and complete.
