The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring. This specific joint is a 2 in. diameter, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2 1/4 in. of 3/4 in.-16 right hand threads on the shank, and a 1.970 in. mounting width ball with a .562 in. thru bolt hole. Convenient.

Bought this product so many times over. Keep them stocked for special occasions as well as casual BBQ with friends. I use them to take as a hostess gift at other BBQ's, because everyone can use them. They do not bend like the other brands. The tray with the snap-on lid makes it easy use then store away.

Necessary

Let me pre-empt this with I’m single and travel a ton, so dishes and silverware don’t suit my lifestyle (don’t judge me I’m here to help) so these can be used just as well as stainless or silver cutlery. Very durable. Beware that they may show up with the lid not in tact, causing a small or moderate amount of them to bridge the container. Still, very much worth it.
