COOKE, Edward William. Sixty Five Plates of Shipping and Craft, Drawn and Etched by E. W. Cooke. London, [printed for the artist], 1829 [1831].

Folio. Publisher's maroon cloth; expertly recased, retaining most of the original spine; spine lettered in gilt; boards ornamented in blind, with fillets in blind; unpaginated; with 65 copper-engraved plates; a list of plates, and additional plates, at the end of the volume; light bumping to corners; rebacked with new endpapers; mostly light spotting; a good copy of this rare collection of Cooke's marine drawings.

First edition. 'E. W. Cooke was a marine artist and gardener, and received artistic training in the studios of his father, uncle, and family friends, during which he became deeply versed in works of the early nineteenth-century landscapists. He published Fifty Plates of Shipping and Craft (1829), Twelve Plates of Coast Sketches: Brighton (1830), and The British Coast (1831), all of which were republished together in 1831 as Sixty-Five Plates of Shipping and Craft but bearing the date of 1829. In 1833 he and his father produced Views of the Old and the New London Bridges, twelve plates from his drawings of the subjects. His father's London and its Vicinity (1826–34) was engraved from watercolours by Augustus Callcott, J. S. Cotman, Stanfield, and Samuel Prout, all based on outline drawings made by the younger Cooke to relieve them of the preliminary labour' (ODNB).

Very Strong Flosser! Works great!
Color: Green
Really strong flosser! There are multiple settings for flow type. You may want to reconsider if you have very sensitive gums. The irrigation is pretty strong. It does get all the stuff you thought you flossed away, out of your teeth, gums and mouth. Good battery, it lasts for weeks to maybe a month and a half with daily use, up to 3 months longer before recharge, if not using everyday. I've tested out both scenarios, while still using a regular string floss daily.

Totally Satisfied!
Color: Green
I love this, it works better than I expected. I needed a water flosser that was compact to travel with. This one works great! It is very powerful at its highest setting; however, you must work quickly, or you will need to refill the water reservoir before you're able to do your entire mouth. The pulsating setting gives the ability to move around each quadrant of your mouth a little slower. The soft setting works well for my grandson. It does a great job of getting rid of the food particles stuck between your teeth.

An important book..
This book is much more than just a book about the other realm with pretty pictures in it. Within it is a wealth of timeless information that stretches beyond the scope of angelic/devic/nature spirits. I was expecting a book focused on descriptions of beings with pictures....and it does contain that information, but it also has SO much more. It is truly worth reading.
