Take on the role of one of 4 clans to explore the lands, mine gems, restore ancient relics, and find the lost Iridia Stone to ascend to the throne and re-unite the people of Iridescia!

Gems of Iridescia is an easy to learn, fun to master worker placement board game where players will push their luck as they compete to mine gems, restore ancient relics and ascend to the throne of a rich gem-filled world.

Quick to learn using a simple rule system that enables players to jump right into the game without reading page after page of rule books. Secret objectives and a variety of ways to score create different paths to victory making every expedition a unique and fun experience.

Explore Iridescia by flipping over land tiles, revealing the gems hidden beneath them and then roll dice to mine them. Each gem color is tied to a dice value that can be manipulated to help your cause. Roll high enough, and you can claim more gems, adding them to your cargo hold providing you with a valuable resource for restoring relics and scoring royalty points!

The beautifully illustrated world of Iridescia provides a bounty of little hidden details and treasures for players to discover.

This book made me angry

I was excited about this book. Many law-related blogs and forums highly recommended this book. It's a "must read" for law students, they said. I was angry when I read the introduction. I was angrier when I began reading the chapters. What happened to brevity? Law students are already swamped with course readings. Why write a book intended to be read by law students in such a long and voluminous way? Much of the text can be removed. "Get to the point," I found myself telling the author as I read page after page. I hated it. It is the rare law student who will pick up this book for its narrative value. The typical law student will pick this book for its value on navigating through law school exams, not for its story-telling. Yet that student will be left disappointed. I wish the author would have considered writing a "Get to the Point" book, which would serve as a shorter version of 'Getting to Maybe.' Perhaps it is not too late. "Get to the Point" could serve as an alternative or accompanying version, maybe? I ask that the author considers this.
