This elegant shawl is worked using the same easy Top Down Sideways construction as the Pralines and Savoy Truffle shawls, and it especially great for people who love knitting classic top down shawls but prefer something more modern to wear. It can be worn in several different ways, and I especially love to wear it so that the large piece warms my shoulder and the long piece wraps around to keep the shawl secure.

Super Fine Weight
DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Merino Light by Colour Adventures (100% Merino Wool; 115g/475yds): 2 Skeins.
ALTERNATE YARN: O-Wash Fingering by O-Wool (100% Washable Certified Organic Merino Wool; 100g/428 yds): 2 Skeins. This environmentally responsible merino wool is dyed using low impact dyes and a special GOTS certified process that holds the wool fibers in place, thus preventing felting. Dyed and milled in the Northeastern USA in solid colorways. Available for PRE-ORDER in all colors. Please allow at least 5 business days for PRE-ORDERS to ship to your location.
ALTERNATE YARN: Sock by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/440 yds): 2 Skeins. Sock is a light fingering weight yarn so please swatch before you create. Malabrigo is known for its gorgeous kettle-dyed yarns that have slight color variation. Some yarns are strikingly variegated while others are quite subtle, but Malabrigo is a perfect choice to show off this beautiful design.
ALTERNATE YARN: Cotton Ball by Schoppel Wolle (100% long staple Greek cotton; 100g/459 yds): 2 skeins. This lightly variegated yarn will show off the beautiful stitch patterns while providing coolness with a light layer. Please know that cotton relaxes as it is worn and will stretch slightly during use.
