Through DAG NASTY, SWIZ and JESUS EATER, SHAWN BROWN's unique voice has gained admiration from many followers of D.C. hardcore. And in voicing that selfish thought, his ex-bandmate, JASON FARRELL, triggered the inception of RED HARE-a new band that furthers the music Farrell, Brown, and bassist DAVE EIGHT began making more than twenty years ago in Swiz. With Red Hare, Shawn Brown, Jason Farrell and Dave Eight have reconvened to further explore the trajectory set by these previous bands. Rather than trying to replicate sonic bits of their lost youth, Red Hare remains open to change; the most prominent of which was the addition of JOE GORELICK. His post-hardcore-channeling-Keith-Moon approach to drums adds a lean and propulsive dynamic to the familiar voice and crunch. But Swiz: Mach III, it's not. The 23 years since that band split had not been spent in mothballs-BLUETIP, GARDEN VARIETY, Jesus Eater, and RETISONIC all thrived in the interim, each forging their own legacies. Though their sonic influence can be heard in Red Hare, the main unifying thread through all these bands is a shared expression of immediacy: A band voicing their concerns and reflecting their environment now. Not 23 years ago. Not 10 years ago. Now. The new album Nites of Midnite, mixed by J. ROBBINS (Jawbox, Burning Airlines), has found a fitting home in a split effort with Dischord Records and the band's own recently resurrected imprint, Hellfire Records.

Elegant, simple and effective
Color: Walnut Wood
Nothing negative to say about this holder. Does what it should while not taking up much space. The wood grain looks great. Definitely recommended.

I mounted it with a drawer pull
Color: Walnut Wood, Color: Walnut Wood
Functionality: 5 , Design : 5 , Price: 3 I was looking for a way to store my headphones and not clutter my desk. I also wanted to make sure the padding doesn’t get deformed by hanging them on a hook. This wall mounted option met all my requirements, even though I feel it’s a bit pricey for just a small piece of wood and metal. It’s nicely finished and the shape will minimize leaving a dent in the padding of the headphones. I was worried that the color wouldn’t match my desk but luckily it was very close. Based on other reviews I didn’t trust the adhesive. Instead of drilling a hole into my desk I thought I would try attaching it with one of the drawer pulls. The hole of the wall hanger was just a millimeter too small for the screw of the drawer pull, but a quick mod with my power drill and it fits perfectly. I’m glad I didn’t drill into my desk, and if the position ends up inconvenient I can easily swap it to a different drawer. I would highly recommend this product.

Good design, but inconsistent photos. I think I got a dull-colored sample.
Color: Walnut Wood
Good, but seeing a lot of inconsistent user photos. Some have extra racks or a little knob for cables. Some mount with the bracket pointing downward (you can reverse it if you want) and with two screws. Also, the block I got is a dull poopy brown instead of the bright & vibrant brown on the photos of the product page & box. Understandable, I suppose-- given the nature of wood. Plastic/metal would certainly be more consistent, but I wanted this to match my black & wood aesthetic of my office. Luck of the draw on the shade of brown that I got, I guess. As nice as this hanger looks and as convenient as it is, the dull color is enough to make me want to just leave my headphones in the desk drawer when not in use. A drawer protects the headphones from dust as well. I don't live at my PC, so having them stowed away when not in use makes more sense for me. I didn't really think this though and got a lemon of a color. Likely a return.

Great for center weight headphones
Color: Walnut Wood
Easy to install for the wall, hang headphones well. Make sure your headphones are center weighted as otherwise they can slide easily
