The genesis of The Skitzy emerged from a quest to blend chorus with reverb, resulting in a unique modulation that defies convention. Through experimentation, the pedal evolved into a dual-layered modulated reverb, marrying two parallel signals: tremverb and swayverb. Each signal boasts distinctive voicing and modulation options, from tremolo reverb to resonant textures, offering a spectrum of sounds.
The layout of The Skitzy is intuitive but comprehensive, allowing users to explore its myriad sonic possibilities without getting too confusing. Detailed controls allow for precise manipulation, while internal settings offer further customization, inviting players to sculpt their signature sound. Controls include LFO speed, depth and waveform, tremolo reverb, a wet/dry blend, a second switch specifically made to add feedback, and more.
