Perfect for sensory sensitive kids and for the pure beauty of it

After speaking over the phone with the seller, I was confident in this purchase for my SPD son. They do not use harsh chemicals or dyes in the process. It is from New Zealand and the only use in Vietnam is for shipping. My son hasn't been diagnosed yet for Autism but he is in the process. He is super sensitive to all things sensory and Amazon feedback isn't the place to give specific details on his condition but I will write that when he fist touched it- which was willingly- he smiled and asked to sleep on it. When he laid down on it and I covered him- he was calm and smiling. In the pic I provided he is calm and holding his door (his obsession is doors and windows). He even set his door down to hold the fur. For other mommies and papas with spd/autistic kids you know that willingly touching a new fabric and setting down an obsessive item is huge and super encouraging!
I am so grateful to have such a quality item that is affordable for my special needs son. His older sister received one as well as is now pretending to be a sheep. Fun for everyone!
The ONLY negative is that the brand/info sticker on the pelt was a pain to get off and pulled some of the felt - not damaging it but blemishing the unity -but if the skin is down it will not be noticeable.
A super fun detail is that all of the fur is combed out but there were a few strands that were wavy and had a slight curl- I LOVED that.
There was no odor at all which is great! I expected an animal smell which is better than chlorine or dioxin which is what competitors use in their process.
There is no noticeable seam in the middle on the top where the two pelts are gathered.
I am soooo satisfied!

Exactly as described and what I needed.

I have a bad back along with other medical problems. I bought this for padding in my wheelchair. Very thick, soft, flexible, everything I needed. No smell and very little shedding even initially. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

I’m absolutely thrilled with this large sheepskin mat! I ordered two. At first look I was worried think "are they real?" but once taken out of the air tight package and hung out in the sun for the afternoon, the odd dirty dog smell dissipated and the feeling that the fur had a film on it was also gone. The quality is incredible — it’s unbelievably soft, thick, and luxurious. I draped them over my 2 sofa's and it instantly transformed the whole room, making it feel warm, cozy, and elegant. The texture is so plush and comfortable that everyone who visits comments on how beautiful it looks and feels. The size is perfect, the colour is gorgeous, and it adds such a stylish touch to my living space. It feels durable and well-made while still being incredibly soft to sit on. Very nice sheepskin .

This rug is very gorgeous , nice soft and plush. The wool is upright and even and you just want to keep touching it. It had some odor at first which is now dissipating the longer it is aired. Well worth the price. However I ordered two different colors at the same time. This is the one that I received first and am still waiting for the second one in light brown . For some reason the other was stalled somewhere in Kentucky as of this morning and upon communication a replacement was ordered by Amazon. I'm very happy with this one , just wish the frustration hadn't arisen over the shipping for other and will update or rate after I receive that one.
