This LED tape light kit lets you choose your lights' length, colour, and IP rating. For the colours, we have three for you to choose from:
- Warm white light – similar to an old yellowish incandescent bulb, perfect for ambient and accent lighting.
- Cool white light – produces a crisp, bright light that's ideal for task lighting.
- Natural white light – resembles a cloudless sunny day, has a very slight blue tint, and is also suitable for task lighting.
When it comes to the IP rating of your lights in this LED tape light kit, you can opt for an IP65 (waterproof) or an IP20 (non-waterproof). If you plan to add your lights in the bathroom or areas in your home that are prone to moisture, it's best to go with an IP65-rated strip. It has the protection necessary to defend itself against dust and water. On the other hand, if you're only putting your LED tape in your wardrobe, display cabinet or areas that will never be in contact with water, then an IP20-rated strip will do fine. Please be aware that IP65 lights should NOT be submerged in water.
Installing this LED tape light kit is quick and straightforward. The kit comes with a compatible LED driver for your LED strips, and the tape light has a 3M double-adhesive backing, so all you need to do once you connect it to the driver is peel off the cover on the back of the strip and stick it onto a clean surface. It will not take you forever to mount it!
We offer a 5-year warranty with the LED strip, while the LED driver has a 1-year warranty. So, take your time and enjoy your lights to the fullest!
